Incentive package for health workers have been extended by three more months, President, Nana Akufo-Addo has announced.
Addressing the nation in his periodic briefings on Sunday, he stated that insurance packages for health workers remain in place.
He also explained that all health workers in the country will continue to enjoy income-tax-free salaries for the months of July, August and September.
Additionally, frontline health workers will also continue to receive 50 percent of their salary as allowances for the same period.
Meanwhile, President Akufo- Addo says issues with the packages have been resolved.
Furthermore, he revealed that final year Junior High School students will resume school tomorrow, 29th June,2020 to prepare for their final exams.
They are expected to be in school for 11 days to prepare for the exams and urged all teaching and non-teaching staff to adhere to the safety protocols.
